Down on the farm
An assortment of beans, some zucchini, a couple of pumpkins have been lovingly sown and now await the clutzy touch of our very un-green thumbs. Let's hope they make it through a harsh Canberra summer and we have something to feast on in Autumn.
It's just possible they will despite us as it seems we have unwittingly nurtured a handful of tomato plants that have sprung up from previous years:
And do you remember the carrots I sowed last Autumn? I blogged Day One and then never again as they did so poorly. Well, it seems they were only dormant. A special breed of hibernating carrot that came out of hiding when I transplanted them to the new house:
